Strategic Alliance Program

Accounting firms are under increasing pressure to deliver a broad range of management consulting services to clients. Many of these services are outside the skills area of the accounting firm. Although it may be possible to refer clients to other practitioners or external consultants, many firms feel that such a strategy holds certain risks in regards to their client relationship.

Under Mort's Strategic Alliance Program, a firm is able to offer certain management consulting services to its clients. These services will be performed by Mort Shapiro, utilizing wherever possible, the accounting firm in a support role.

This program includes:

  • Assisting the accounting firm to identify its clients’ management consulting service needs

  • Participating as needed, with the accounting firm, in the selling of these services to its clients

  • Performing the services.

Sample consulting services delivered under the Strategic Alliance Program:

  • Family business succession planning.

  • Strategic planning session with owners.

  • Dispute resolution.
