E-training FAQ's
- How complicated is it to participate? I'm not much of a "techie"!
All you need to be able to do is use Internet Explorer and go to a specific site (we provide you with the address). You receive a meeting code and password. The log on process is simple. You then call an '800' number on your telephone and log in to the meeting.
- Can I ask questions during a session?
Yes. You can ask a question in writing through a chat feature. You type it out and press "send". Mort sees your question immediately and knows it is from you.
You also have the ability to indicate to Mort that you would like to ask a question or make a comment.
- What do I do about notes?
Before the presentation, you will receive an e-mail with an attachment of the presentation. You can print this out ahead of time and make your notes during the session as you would in a physical setting.
- Is this all lecture style? What about discussion and hands on work?
Mort's popular style of participant interaction is a part of his e-training style. There are case studies, questions to consider and discussions.
- Doesn't it get confusing with all those voices?
There is a simple protocol that addresses this unique feature of e-training. Before speaking, participants simply identify themselves. "This is John ..."
